Function Room

The Il Gambero on the Park function room is one of Lygon Street’s most desirable entertainment spaces. We specialise in birthday parties, engagements, sporting club dinners, Christmas parties and christenings.

Directly opposite Argyle Square, our balcony glass doors and wall give your guests uninterrupted views of the park. When the weather is right we can retract the roof, converting the room into Carlton’s only open air rooftop terrace.

We can cater for up to 100 guests for sit down meals and banquets. Alternatively, we can accommodate up to 180 for standing, cocktail style events with canapés. All food is prepared in a separate kitchen upstairs, ensuring your events run smoothly and to time.

For drinks, we have a fully serviced bar with a range of beers on tap, an extensive wine list and a cocktail menu that can be tailored to suit your preferences.

The room features an in-built PA with iPod connectivity available for no extra charge. You can arrange your own DJ but use of the equipment and speakers is permitted for professionals only. The room is also fitted with a 46″ Sony Bravia LCD screen with USB connectivity and slideshow capability.
